1. Development of new businessFocus on development of New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying and closing the dealPrepare tenders, reports, presentations, Approve rates for types of customersGenerate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company specific requirementsAnalyse clients' needs and propose various courier solutions accordingly and close the deal2.

Service ExcellenceEnsure continuous follow-up by the Sales Team on pending clientsManage and retain client relationships on all levels and provide a professional service including after-sales service, client enquiries and regular follow ups3.

Sales and Targets and AdministrationExceed sales objective of assigned targets by promoting and selling courier services through professional sales targetsEnsure consistent achievement of all relevant product / monthly targetsSubmit weekly call reports to the General Manager, this will enable him to monitor your weekly activitiesEnsure the pipeline is up to date at all timeManage all relevant internal administrative processesAttend all meetings and submit weekly statsEnsure commission sheets are signed off by the General Manager and submitted to HR4.

Product KnowledgeLearn new products knowledge and acquire improved selling skills and communicate to the Sales TeamKeep abreast of competition services and Markets5.

CommunicationEnsure effective and ongoing communication between the Sales Teams and supporting departments within the Company at all levelsRespond and assist on all Sales department queries as communicated by the Sales TeamEnsure effective communication with General Manager and colleaguesRequirements : Matric or Senior Certification equivalentMS Office Suite (especially Excel)Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably from the Logistics Industry
