Business Analyst with Apps Transformation experience

Role Summary

As part of our overall investment and growth strategy in the UK we are hiring experienced Technical Business Analysts to join our team.

  • Initially the Business Analysts will join an Application Modernisation programme; but over time there will be opportunities to take on a wider range of opportunities for example in Software development programmes.
  • Within the Application Modernisation programme, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the transformation of legacy applications into modern, scalable, and cloud-native solutions. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
  • You’ll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with business units and multidisciplinary teams.
  • You’ll contribute to the digital transformation of an organisation.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements for applications in scope.
  • Work with Architects, business owners and project managers to ensure technical solutions meet business processes and expectations.
  • Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
  • Maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and system specifications.
  • Assist in change management and user training efforts.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the modernisation process.
Skills Required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or application-focused role.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with a range of application types (e.g. Enterprise, Custom, Packaged).
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or equivalent.
  • Agile/Scrum certification.
