Job summary

We are currently seeking highly motivated Registered Adult Nurses to work within Surgery, Medicine, Urgent Care and Community Divisions covering the full range of specialties throughout all Health Board sites. We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need a flexible approach to work and be ready to participate in full shift systems including nights, weekends, sometimes 12‑hour shifts or a three‑shift system.

Main duties of the job

• Bank Registered Adult Nurse
• Support the senior staff with running the medical ward on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
• Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Work as a member of the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Develop an understanding of the requirements of the National Service Framework.
• The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
