We are looking for a new AWS Africa Growth Executive to join our team. In this role, you will drive the AWS sales motion within a defined African territory, managing the full lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure. You willidentifyand close net-new and expansion opportunities across AWS infrastructure, modernization, and managed services, while building account and territory plans aligned with key growth priorities. You will lead consultative discussions with C-level and technical stakeholders, positioning AWS for agility, scalability, and cost optimization, andworkclosely with internal teams to ensure profitable, compliant transactions.

The role:
  • Partner with AWS field sellers (PDMs, Partner Success Managers, and SA teams) to jointly develop go-to-market (GTM) and co-sell strategies
  • Leverage AWS programs (OLA, MAP Assess, MAP Migrate, and MAP Optimize) to fund and accelerate customer transformation journeys
  • Work with Cloud Architects and Services teams to translate customer requirements into technical and commercial proposals
  • Deliver value-based proposals, manage the contracting process, ensure on-time dealexecutionand drivehigh levelsof customer satisfaction and reference ability through ongoing relationship management
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline in CRM systems
  • Track and report AWS-specific KPIs: pipeline coverage, OLA/MAP execution, GP performance, and AWS fundingutilization
What we need to see from you:
  • Experience in cloud solution sales, ideally within AWS, ahyperscaler, or a top-tier AWS partner
  • Proven success selling AWS infrastructure, migration, or modernization solutions directly to enterprise or commercial customers
  • Deep understanding of AWS programs (MAP, OLA, EDP, WAFR, FTR) and how toleveragethem for customer success
  • Familiarity with AWS partner models and co-sell engagement processes
  • Solidpipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution discipline
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels
  • Comfortable working across multicultural and geographically dispersed teams
