Requirements

• 3-year working experience in mechanical, avionic and electronics
• Trade Test Certificate
• X and or W Licenses would be advantageous
• Experience working with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as assigned by Crew Chief/Satellite station manager.
• Repair all electrical /mechanical and avionics snags as per Manufacturer documentation.
• Build /service and overhauling of electrical /mechanical and avionics components as per Manufacturer documentation.
• Re-wire / restore electrical /mechanical and avionics systems on 2000 Hr. aircraft.
• Manage and maintain the lead Acid Battery Shop.
• To inspect and control the quality of tasks performed.
• Carrying out of special inspections as required by Manufacturer or Aviation Authority or MOP.
• Ensure all paperwork, documentation, manuals, and inspection schedules issued by Manufacturer and SACAA are adhered to and completed.
• Carry out aircraft maintenance aircraft maintenance manual & AC43.13 using hand tools and power tools.
• Clean parts, panels, and aircraft before inspection of Maintenance Manual.
• Conduct routine special inspections as required.
• Carry out corrosion removal, treatment, and prevention.
• Carry out paint touch-up as required Maintenance Manual.
• Read and interpret Pilot description of problems to diagnose cause.
• Obtain fuel and oil samples and check for contaminants.
• Re-fuel and de-fuel aircraft iaw M/M.
• Train and guide Apprentices.
• Perform duties according to AMO MOP.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and up to date daily.
• Prepare and present lessons on knowledge acquired during duties monthly.
• Any other related duties that might be assigned to you from time to time by your Supervisor/Manager.
