Job summary

A prominent automotive manufacturer is seeking an Auxiliary Administrator in East London. This support role involves managing administrative tasks, assisting management, and handling procurement. Ideal candidates should have Grade 12 and an Office Administration qualification, with strong attention to detail and communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Manage the switchboard allocation of incoming calls.
  • Submit shipping documents to the freight forwarders.
  • Manage Debtors accounts and send statements to customers.
  • Update pricing on MRP system for customers quarterly.
  • Purchasing PPE and stationery for staff.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations when required.

Job description

AUXILIAR ADMINISTRATOR / EAST LONDON – This position will suit someone that has worked within the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. This is a support role that will assist higher-level administrators and Management with routine office, clerical, and coordination tasks. The position is based in the IDZ, will suit someone residing in the area.

  • Experience in Debtors/Creditors/Invoicing/Pricing
  • Experience in Purchasing of PPE and office consumables and stationery
  • Exceptionally organised
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication in English and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the switchboard allocating all incoming calls
  • Submit shipping documents to the freight forwarders
  • Manage Debtors accounts (request remittances from Customers, download invoices monthly, reconciliations and sent statements to customers with follow ups)
  • Manage Creditors (submit purchase invoices to Spain and PKF when required)
  • Capture of Invoices on MRP system (Izaro) and send to Spain headquarters
  • Update pricing on MRP system (Izaro) for customers on a quarterly basis
  • Suppliers and Customers new accounts creation
  • Purchasing PPE for all employees
  • Purchase stationery for production and office staff
  • Purchase staff consumables
  • Manages internal factory staff orders and consumables
  • Submit all factory staff approved hours timesheets to Finance for payment weekly
  • Assist in obtaining quotations when required
  • Update price increases from the Suppliers on the MRP System
  • Create Purchase Orders on MRP System (Izaro)
  • Creating New Item References on MRP system (Izaro) for New Projects and update Master Data
Salary

R10,000 per month
