POSITION INFO

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of third-party motor vehicle accident litigation matters (non-RAF).
• Draft and review pleadings, summonses, notices, and affidavits.
• Attend court appearances, pre-trial conferences, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct liability and quantum assessments and manage settlement processes.
• Provide legal opinions and advice based on in-depth research.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and opposing attorneys.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant case documentation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric (Grade 12).
• LLB Degree (essential).
• Admitted Attorney (2–5 years post-admission experience).
• Registered with the Legal Practice Council (LPC).
• 2–5 years post-admission experience in Motor Vehicle Litigation (liabilities/recoveries).
