REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - an Honours Degree is preferred
  • A professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent) is advantageous
  • 5–10 years of experience managing finance in manufacturing or related sectors
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Companies Act, South African tax laws, and ERP systems (SAP)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Leadership and team management with strong mentoring capability
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be prepared to work additional hours when required
  • Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITES
  • Coordinating day-to-day financial, administrative, and IT operations while supporting the company’s strategic objectives
  • Coordinate preparation, review, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Act (2008), and internal accounting policies
  • Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and working capital
  • Manage ERP (SAP) and IT systems for accurate financial reporting
  • Lead and develop the accounts payable team, fostering accountability and high performance
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasts, risk management, and strategic financial initiatives
  • Support BBBEE compliance, audits, and other statutory requirements
