Qualifications

  • 6-12 months’ experience in a professional pastry, bakery or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong foundational pastry skills including mixing, piping, folding, glazing and tempering.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce pastries, desserts and baked goods according to recipes and plating standards.
  • Maintain full mise-en-place and keep your section clean and organized.
  • Uphold strict hygiene, safety and food handling standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the pastry and kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
  • Take initiative in learning, tasting and refining your pastry techniques.
