Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as an artisan working on steel pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete relevant documentation for maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Conduct maintenance, installations, and construction to standards.
• Attend to mechanical breakdowns and escalate unresolved issues.

Skills

Basic knowledge of pumps, level and pressure control valves

Knowledge of water and air reticulation systems

Medically fit to work

Clear security screening record

Education

NQF 4 or Grade 12 or equivalent

Section 13 or 26D Boilermaker Trade Certificate

Tools

Forklift operator’s licence

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of pumps, level and pressure control valves
• Knowledge of water and air reticulation systems
• Valid driver’s license (Will be required to do standby)
• Section 13 or 26D (completed learnership / apprenticeship) Boilermaker Trade Certificate as recognised by the QTCO.
• At least 3 years’ experience as an artisan working on and developing off steel pipe systems
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Valid Forklift operator’s licence will be advantageous
• Overhead crane operator’s licence will be advantageous
• Coded welder certification (Mild Steel) will be advantageous.
• Telescopic boom operator’s licence will be advantageous

• Attending to mechanical breakdowns.
• Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful maintenance, installation and constructions.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedure
