Job summary

A recruitment agency seeks an experienced Armature Test Technician with Foreman/Supervisor experience for permanent employment in Newcastle, KZN. • Monitor and control all workshop processing in conjunction with Quality Control.

Job description

Armature Test Technician / Foreman required in Newcastle.

An opportunity for an experienced Armature Test Technician (with Foreman / Supervisor experience) is available for permanent employment based in Northern KZN.

Salary: TCTC R50 000 – R60 000 kpm (+ benefits) negotiable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage complete workshop, stores, and planning dept.
• Have knowledge of Armature Winding and Mechanical experience
• Have knowledge of test bay for AC and DC motors
• Have knowledge of test bay for assessing motors
• Monitor and control all workshop processing in conjunction with Quality Control
• Knowledge of costing
• Flame proof experience will be advantageous.
• Warranty assessment and inspection
• Liaising with customers

• Minimum 20 years experience (Senior role)
• Armature environment Foreman / Supervisory experience required
