Introduction :

The company is a diverse and proudly South African car hire company. We are part of a JSE-listed company engaged primarily in distribution and franchising, motor retail, car hire, and financial and support services sectors.

The car hire fleet comprises an impressive range of well-maintained vehicles, from no-frills models to top-of-the-range luxury cars, available for short- and long-term hire. The company operates with a fleet of more than 9,000 vehicles throughout South Africa from a network of 50 branches.

About the Role :

We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager based at the Kempton Park Depot, reporting to the Regional Gauteng Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Establish and nurture brand connections by building, managing, and maintaining segment-specific accounts and client relationships.
  2. Acquire a minimum of three new business accounts monthly and capitalize on opportunities.
  3. Compile and complete tender documents, demonstrating strong industry market knowledge.
  4. Make courtesy calls and visits to clients.
  5. Customize client rate structures.
  6. Analyze financial data and big data to identify trends and achieve area-specific sales targets and revenue goals.
  7. Provide client-centered care efficiently and effectively.
  8. Expand brand territory as required.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Management or Marketing Diploma or Degree.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Working Conditions :

Work is primarily in an office environment, with travel involved, and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
