Requirements
  • NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
  • Financial background on report building and reporting
  • Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
  • Clear security screening record.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Advanced Certificate in Micro Soft Excel
Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Control Maintain inventory levels to meet business requirement by:
  • Updating and maintaining reports as per responsibility
  • Accurate document processing on receipt for stock and non-stock items
  • Assisting with investigations relating to incorrect material received and issued effecting stock availability
  • Assisting with materials return to supplier effecting stock availability
  • Assisting with monthly stock taking and investigations on stock differences
  • Assisting the supervisor to do checks on items delivered if according to correct specification
  • Assisting with supplier and internal customer first line queries and raise any further problems to the Supervisor
  • Compiling outstanding status report on all requests capture in the ERP system
  • Compiling stock availability report and report on out of stock items to Supervisor / Manager and action immediately
  • Updating asset register daily and track progress on warranty / repair and BER
  • Managing BER process and ensure delivery of scrap items
  • Raising non-conformance relating to supply and quality problems towards suppliers
  • Maintaining unit of measure receiving
  • Following up and updating feedback on the report on outstanding waybill for deliveries
  • Outstanding feedback report to be send to Supervisor / Manager daily
  • All documentation filling to be done according to Popia regulation and procedure daily
  • Effectively administer data and information on the supply chain system
  • Compile accurate reports related to role
  • Providing administrative support in terms of material availability by processing accurate and real time deliveries into the ERP system.
  • Attend required meetings
  • Ensure compliance against relevant audits
  • Enquire on abnormal quantities if not in alignment with standards and raise discrepancies
  • Support the overall optimisation of the stores
  • Identify opportunities to improve operation efficiencies in the section
  • Identify and support efforts to overcome operational problems
  • Participate in the planning process to achieve optimum and integrated plans for the store

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.
  • Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.

  • Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
