Job summary

A financial consulting firm based in Gauteng seeks a Costing Accountant to guide cash management and manage company expenses. The successful candidate will handle various financial tasks including costings, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, and preparing budgets under senior management oversight. Proven experience as a Junior Financial Consultant or similar role is required, along with strong skills in Excel and cost management. A Saipa registration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Junior Financial Consultant, Financial Adviser, or similar role.
• Must have sufficient experience in costings and budgets.
• Saipa registered will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills, and supporting documentation.
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
• Gathering payroll expenses and inputting into the appropriate entry line.
• Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management.
• Analyzing financial statements and preparing balance sheets.
• Providing regular reports on costings, variances, and actuals.
