Role: Account Manager - Valley
Location: South Africa (Remote, Cape Town preferred) Compensation: Up to $1,500/month USD Hours: 9am - 5pm EST
Valley is an AI-powered LinkedIn outbound platform that helps B2B sales teams run signal-based campaigns at scale. Serving customers like Bolt.new, UiPath, StubHub, and over 400 early stage companies.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Management
- Build audiences and targeting criteria based on customer ICPs
- Create and launch LinkedIn campaigns on behalf of customers
- QA every campaign before it goes live - messaging, targeting, setup
- Monitor campaign performance and flag issues early
- Make adjustments based on results and customer feedback
Customer Support
- Answer customer questions via chat, Slack, and email - quickly and clearly
- Get on calls when customers need help or want to walk through something
- Be the first line of support - if a customer has a problem, you're on it
- Escalate issues when needed but resolve what you can yourself
Documentation & Knowledge Base
- When a question comes up that isn’t documented - write the doc
- Build out our help center and knowledge base over time
- Create clear, simple documentation customers can actually use
- Turn repeat questions into articles so they don’t get asked again
AI Support Agent
- Implement and manage our AI support agent that handles questions 24/7
- Train the agent with new documentation and answers
- Monitor what the agent gets wrong and improve it
- Make sure customers get fast, accurate answers even when you're offline
Diligent Follow-Through
- Follow up until the job is done - no loose ends
- Chase down answers from customers, teammates, whoever
- Don't wait to be told what to do next - figure it out and move
- Act quickly - speed matters
Who You Are
- 2+ years in account management, customer support, or campaign operations
- Insanely detail-oriented - you catch the things others miss
- You document everything without being asked
- Fast communicator - you respond quickly and clearly
- You don’t stop until the job is done, even if it's tedious
- You're organized in a way that others can follow your work
- Comfortable on video calls with customers
- You write clearly - your docs and messages are easy to understand
- Interested in AI tools and excited to implement an AI support agent
- You take ownership - if it's your account, it's your problem to solve
- Stable work-from-home setup with fast, reliable internet
- Available to work 9am - 5pm EST
Bonus
- Experience with LinkedIn, outbound sales, or lead generation
- Background in B2B SaaS or agency environments
- Experience building help docs or knowledge bases
- Familiarity with AI chatbots or support automation tools (Intercom, Zendesk, etc.)

In 30 days:
- You're launching campaigns accurately without needing hand-holding
- You're answering support questions fast and customers are happy
- You've identified the top 10 questions that need documentation
In 90 days:
- Zero campaign errors going out the door
- You've written docs for every common question
- AI support agent is live and handling basic questions 24/7
- Customers love working with you - they trust you with their account
In 6 months:
- You're running a book of accounts smoothly
- Our knowledge base is comprehensive - most questions are self-serve
- AI agent handles 50%+ of support volume accurately
- You're the person we point to as the standard for how accounts should be managed
