Responsibilities
Oversee school-owned ICT and AV inventories, managing loan, return, procurement, and condemnation processes.
Maintain computer labs and control rooms, ensuring readiness for classes and school functions.
Record and maintain weekly logs of repairs, services, and usage across ICT and AV equipment.
Provide on-site support for students and staff during school hours, covering troubleshooting and general maintenance for all ICT and AV equipment.
Assist with the deployment, maintenance, and management of Personal Learning Devices (PLDs), including necessary repairs and Device Management Application (DMA) controls.
Prepare, implement, evaluate, and review training programmes for students and staff, aligned with the school’s strategic objectives and curriculum needs.
Conduct ICT baseline skills training, covering applications in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Classroom, Docs, Sites), iPad applications such as Procreate, and other digital tools.
Create and provide training materials, lesson plans, exercises, and project outlines in collaboration with teachers, particularly for the Applied Learning Programme (ALP).
Manage, monitor, and assess ICT projects and assignments such as the National Digital Explorer (NDE), Code for Fun (CFF), and other AI programmes.
Execute and support the Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP), ensuring training and troubleshooting for students and coordination with suppliers.
Support video production and editing for teaching, learning, and school events, including lesson observations, staff training, and event recordings.
Coordinate videography and photography support for school programmes and provide AVA assistance for events.
Work with teachers to provide recommendations on ICT tools and software to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Train and guide teachers, students, and student leaders in using relevant ICT and AV equipment, including AVA responsibilities as part of co-curricular activities (CCA).
Maintain and update ICT tracking lists (using platforms like Excel, Google Sheets) for equipment loans and returns.
Promote and guide staff and students in effective data management practices, including data backup and housekeeping.
Support procurement activities for ICT-related items and assist in managing the school’s ICT-related paperwork (e.g., Loan Forms, ICT Request Forms).
Collaborate with the ICT department and Desktop Engineers (DEs) to provide comprehensive support across technical areas.
Assist in school website management, content updates, and alignment with school ICT initiatives.
Undertake ad-hoc ICT and AV support tasks as directed by school administration.
Requirements
Applicants must be Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, or hold an ICA-issued Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP/LTVP+).
Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related discipline.
Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive) and Google Workspace (Sites, Classroom, Docs).
Skilled in using AI tools like ChatGPT for educational or productivity purposes.
Experienced in managing and troubleshooting both Macintosh and Windows devices, with specific experience in supporting Windows devices under the Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP).
Familiarity with iPad applications, including Procreate, Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar, and Reminders.
Proficient in setting up and managing AV equipment, particularly sound systems for school events and programmes.
Basic photography and videography skills for event coverage and school activity support.
Skilled in video editing software to facilitate content creation for teaching and school events.
Minimum of one year of experience delivering enrichment workshops or similar training sessions in a school environment, with effective classroom management skills.
Capable of conducting ICT training for students and staff, covering Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, iPad applications, and AV tools.
At least one year’s experience as an ICT Executive or in a similar role within a school environment, ideally in a secondary school.
Registered with the Ministry of Education’s Registration and Engagement Management System (REMS 2.0).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
