Job summary
A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Account Executive for their Investor Services team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Fund Administration or finance roles within the venture capital and private equity sectors. Responsibilities include managing a pipeline, networking, and closing substantial deals in a high-velocity startup environment. The candidate must be authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Fund Administration or finance/ops roles in VC/PE.
- Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity ecosystems.
- Experience managing a pipeline and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Join the Investor Services team as an Account Executive.
- Work autonomously to achieve results in a startup environment.
- Network and build relationships in the industry.
Skills
Carta is looking for an Account Executive to join our Investor Services team, based in Singapore.
Carta expanded to the Asia Pacific region in 2021 and we are building a world‑class team to support the venture capital and private equity ecosystems. Most of our regional team is based in Singapore.
- Relevant technical or industry experience. For example, experience with Fund Administration, or experience working in a finance or ops related role of a VC / PE Firm, or previous experience as an accountant / auditor
- Go‑To‑Market experience, ideally sales or business development.
- Ability to solve problems and achieve results autonomously
- Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity including the local ecosystem
- Experience networking and building relationships
- Managing a pipeline, and closing sizable deals
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient - Comfortable working in a high velocity startup environment
- Candidate must be authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship
- Understanding of SaaS businesses, or experience in a SaaS sales role
- Fund Administration experience
- Accounting background
