Job description

As an Investment Professional at East Ventures, you will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities within East Ventures’ portfolio. You will work closely with the investment team to identify promising startups, conduct thorough due diligence, perform financial and market analysis, and support portfolio companies’ growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.
• Conduct due diligence, including financial modeling, market sizing, competitor analysis, and assessment of founders and teams.
• Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for internal review and approval.
• Support negotiation and deal structuring processes.
• Track and analyze industry trends, startups, and key market developments.
• Support portfolio management activities, including monitoring performance and engaging with portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical teams, to ensure smooth investment transactions.
• Represent East Ventures at industry events and networking opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a relevant role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and market research.
