A staffing services company in Singapore is looking for a skilled web developer to join their team. The role involves developing and maintaining web applications, collaborating with designers and product managers, and ensuring performance across devices. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, around 4 years of IT experience, and proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
Qualifications
- Around 4 or more years of IT work experience.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiar with back-end development such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement features.
- Building efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.
- Creating and consuming RESTful APIs to integrate different systems and services.
- Ensuring the responsiveness and usability of applications across different devices and platforms.
Skills
Education
- Developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of web applications.

- Building efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.

- Debugging and resolving issues, identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks.
- Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining coding standards.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and applying them to projects when appropriate.
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Around 4 or more years of IT work experience
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiar with back-end development such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js).
- Experience with back-end frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, or Express.js.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, as well as experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of web architecture, protocols, and security principles.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment tools like AWS, Azure, or Heroku is a plus
