This role involves managing supplier relationships, sourcing new products, and ensuring successful new product introductions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential to achieve cost optimization and product quality throughout the lifecycle. A proactive approach in a collaborative environment is required.
As a Procurement Engineer, you will be a key partner in significant product cost reduction activities, in early phase innovation working closely with the design engineers and/or in the manufacturing phase.
