Job summary
A leading aviation training provider in Singapore is seeking qualified flight simulator instructors for various aircraft types including B737NG, B777, B744, and B787. The role involves providing recurrent training and initial ratings, offering competitive remuneration. Candidates must have substantial airline experience, instructional qualifications, and a current ATPL. This position allows instructors to pass on their knowledge while working in a dynamic training environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in instructing flight simulators is required.
- Candidates must have current airline experience on the specified aircraft types.
- Must hold an ATPL and the necessary ratings for the aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Provide recurrent training and initial ratings to pilots.
- Conduct training for upgrades to new aircraft types.
- Ensure pilots meet competency standards during training.
Skills
We are seeking qualified B737NG, B777, B744, B787 flight simulator instructors for instructing positions in Singapore. This contract allows instructors the satisfaction of passing on their wealth of knowledge and experience while enjoying a competitive remuneration package. Instructors will provide recurrent training, initial ratings and upgrades to new aircraft types. The training centre is located in Singapore.
- Flight Simulator instructing experience
- Airline experience on required aircraft type
- Instructed or operated as Captain within 3 years
- ATPL and Rating (endorsement) for applicable type from an ICAO signatory country.
- Must have flown an airplane in airline service or operated as a Commercial Airline Simulator Instructor within the past 2 years.
- 5 years Air Carrier experience (scheduled carrier).
- 3 years Instructional experience on jet transport category aircraft with experience as simulator instructor.
- Pilot In Command consisting of 2000 hours in a jet transport category aircraft with at least 1000 hours as PIC on type or at least 1 year experience as a Simulator Instructor on type.
- Completed an ICAO airline recognized CRM initial training course.
- Capable of air travel and physically able to conduct Simulator instruction.
