An educational institution in Singapore is seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across IGCSE, IB, and local curricula. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a related field and has at least 1-2 years of teaching experience. Excellent communication and classroom management skills are essential. Formación
- Recognised teaching qualification preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in relevant math subjects.
Responsabilidades
- Deliver high-quality lessons for various mathematics curricula.
- Prepare lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
- Track and analyse students’ progress, providing feedback.
Conocimientos
Educación
- Deliver high-quality lessons for IGCSE, IB (MYP/DP), A-Level, and/or local IP/Secondary Mathematics, depending on expertise.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and practice resources aligned with curriculum standards.
- Conduct both 1-on-1 and small-group classes effectively.
- Use differentiated instruction to support students with varying learning abilities.
- Track and analyse students’ progress; provide timely feedback and targeted improvement strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGDE/PGCE/State Teaching License) is preferred, but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience in any of the following:
IGCSE Math (0580 / 0607)
IB MYP Math
IB DP Mathematics: AA/AI (SL/HL)
A-Level Mathematics (CIE/Edexcel)
Singapore local school math (Sec/IP/JC) - Experience with both high-achieving and support-level students is a plus.
- Strong mathematical foundation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Ability to motivate students and deliver clear explanations.
- Good organisation skills and responsibility toward marking, preparation, and follow-up.
- Student-first mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for learning outcomes.
