Job description

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Classroom Delivery

• Deliver high-quality lessons for IGCSE, IB (MYP/DP), A-Level, and/or local IP/Secondary Mathematics, depending on expertise.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and practice resources aligned with curriculum standards.
• Conduct both 1-on-1 and small-group classes effectively.
• Use differentiated instruction to support students with varying learning abilities.
• Track and analyse students’ progress; provide timely feedback and targeted improvement strategies.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGDE/PGCE/State Teaching License) is preferred, but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience in any of the following:
  IGCSE Math (0580 / 0607)
  IB MYP Math
  IB DP Mathematics: AA/AI (SL/HL)
  A-Level Mathematics (CIE/Edexcel)
  Singapore local school math (Sec/IP/JC)
• Experience with both high-achieving and support-level students is a plus.
