A leading chemical processing company in Singapore is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to operate and monitor their distillation plant. The role involves ensuring safe operations, coordinating with laboratories, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Candidates must be willing to work shifts and overtime. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Chemical Process Technician
Shift Work
Location: Tuas - Company Transport Provided
Basic Salary: $2500 - $2700
Entitled to AWS + VB + Incentives + OT + Shift Allowances
Gross Salary: $4k & Above
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the distillation process plant for solvent recovery from spent materials.
Ensure safe operation and handling of flammable materials in compliance with SOPs.
Coordinate with the Laboratory for sampling, testing, and product quality verification.
Maintain proper storage and ensure efficient plant performance and recovery yield.
Record process data, report deviations, and assist in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Uphold 5S, safety standards, and participate in continuous training programs.
Requirements:
Willing to work in a process plant environment
Able to commit Shift Work / Overtime
