Job summary
A leading engineering services provider in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to oversee plant modifications and ensure safe operations. In this role, you will lead a team, coordinate safety measures, and provide necessary engineering support. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering and have 2-3 years of experience in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry. Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years of experience in fixed equipment and piping work in petrochemical, oil and gas industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Mechanical Supervisors for plant modifications and civil works.
- Coordinate with plant operators for safety and execution of modifications.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and modifications.
- Prepare bidding documents and conduct evaluations for engineering work.

Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
Our client is a leading company in manufacturing and sales of thermoplastic. The company needs Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to keep up the manufacturing plants.
- Lead a team of Mechanical Supervisors and contractors in performing all plant modification & civil works to ensure work is carried timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations
- Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant modification works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
- Provide engineering support for plant troubleshooting.
- Provide engineering study, cost estimation and executions of plant modification and project works to improve plant performance, reliability
- Work closely with Purchaser to prepare bidding document, technical evaluation & contractor selection for major engineering work
- Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
- Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS506, Hazop and Safety Case
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of as-built document, work procedures & engineering specification.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in fixed equipment and piping work related in petrochemical, oil and gas industry.
- Good analytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, and strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.
