To design optimal PV system, manage on-site installation, commissioning, and quality control, maintain strict compliance with all regulatory standards. Acting as the primary point of contact for PV technical matters.
Responsible for system design and technical decision-making, with strong expertise in PV system design principles, specifications, and regulatory standards. Tasks include conducting site feasibility studies, shading analysis, and system capacity/load calculations. Skilled in designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using AutoCAD for electrical single-line diagrams, module layouts, and structural layouts. Proficient in optimizing system performance, string design, and system sizing using FusionSolar, SolarEdge, and PVsyst simulations. Also responsible for preparing project costing sheets, bills of materials (BOM), and technical specifications, while continuously researching and mastering new products and technologies.
Oversees the end-to-end project execution process, including installation, testing, and commissioning. Manages project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Attends meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities, while supervising material preparation and logistics coordination. Troubleshoots technical issues to support the project team and ensure smooth project delivery.
Assists in preparing, submitting, and tracking documentation for authority applications (SP, SCDF, BCA, URA, JTC, MCST, etc.). Develops risk assessments, method statements, and other relevant project safety documentation. Ensures proper management of project handover packages, including as-built drawings, test reports, and operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Acts as the primary technical contact for clients, consultants, and authorities. Monitors progress across multiple projects and coordinates with clients, installers, and contractors, providing weekly progress updates. Liaises with suppliers and manufacturers for warranty claim processes, while also delivering after-sales technical support and system operation training to customers.
