A global maritime safety partner in Singapore is seeking a Logistic Coordinator to supervise drivers and manage logistics operations. Responsibilities include daily schedule planning, delivery tracking, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in logistics and possess a diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management. What you can expect in a Logistic Coordinator Role at VIKING:
MUST be highly committed to work on irregular hours due to nature of the work and the industry (shift work).
Supervise a team of Drivers to ensure smooth execution of daily operational activities.
Schedule daily transport activities to ensure all the delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner.
Keep Track of Deliveries and Collection of POD (Proof of Deliveries) on timely manner.
Manage fleet of vehicles & Optimum Use of Manpower & Trucks.
Responsible for assigning / planning driver’s daily schedules through a Planning Tool.
Handle Calls & WhatsApp messages from Customers and internal Team.
Compile Daily & Monthly Delivery Report.
Submission of claim for expenses, to Accounts Dept on time.
Responsible for Data entry and delivery related paperwork for vehicles maintenance, inspection + renewal of road tax / VPC.
Ensure drivers are fully compliant to company safety policies & standards.
Ensure proper tracking & monitoring of truck movements via GPS system.
Route analysis to optimize delivery successful rate and efficiency.
Handle feedback & issues raised by customers & drivers.
Ability to work with multi tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Min ’O” Level or Diploma Holder in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
Good command in English.
Min 3- 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics, preferably in supervising Drivers & Deliveries Operations in Marine Industry.
MUST BE Familiar with SG Port Operations.
MUST Possess SG Class, 3 or 4 as well as Forklift Driving license.
Must be good at computer Applications. MS Office. Excel.
Knowledge of Port Net/Trade Net.
Familiar with Singapore Roads & LTA Rules and Regulations.
Good Interpersonal, Analytical with high level of Communication Skills. Be able to work under pressure and act positively.
5 Days work a week (3 shifts).
Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
