Job summary
A leading financial services provider in Singapore is looking for an experienced AS400 Developer. The role requires extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst in Banking, along with a strong understanding of AS/400 and Silverlake Core Banking Systems. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements for enhancements, translating them into specifications, and collaborating on system improvements. This position is crucial in supporting core banking modules, ensuring compliance, and optimizing existing processes.
Qualifications
- 5–12+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in Banking / Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on understanding of AS/400 and/or Silverlake Core Banking System.
- Experience with core banking processes like Payments, Loans, Deposits.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for core banking enhancements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Support migration and integration involving AS/400 or Silverlake platforms.
Skills
We are hiring AS400 Developer with below requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for core banking enhancements and projects.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for AS/400 or Silverlake-based applications.
- Analyze existing banking processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, or system improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and operations to ensure accurate solution delivery.
- Support SIT/UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and managing defect resolutions.
- Conduct impact analysis, data mapping, and system configuration activities.
- Support migration, integration, or modernization efforts involving AS/400 or Silverlake platforms.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, interface documents, and user guides.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, risk, and security standards within banking environments.
- Act as SME for core banking modules such as Payments, Loans, Deposits, GL, Credit, and Customer Information.
- 5–12+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in Banking / Financial Services.
- Strong hands‑on understanding of AS/400 (RPG/CL, DB2/400) and/or Silverlake Core Banking System.
- Experience with core banking processes:
- Payments & Transfers
- Loans & Lending
- Deposits & CASA
- Trade Finance (optional)
- Customer & Account Management
