Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including cash flow, month-end closing, and year end audit activities.
• Oversee and review the work of junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide advisory work on accounting to clients.
• Perform accurate data entry to accounting systems.
• Compile and organize accounts schedules and working papers for client use.
• Prepare documentation to support audit requirements and facilitate smooth audits.
• Ensure schedules are accurate, detailed, and organized for easy reference.
• Prepare necessary accounting schedules such as fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, loan, hire purchase, etc.
• Other adhoc accounting functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple full sets of accounts, preferably in an accounting or outsourcing firm.
