The Senior DevOps Engineer shall support the implementation of digitalisation strategy for Group Networks SG which aims to loosen the IT architecture, increase organisational agility and enable an API driven digital ecosystem.
His/her main responsibility is to enhance and operate the OpenShift container platform based on Kubernetes (K8S) and all platform components such as API gateway service, Automation Engine, Kafka messaging bus and MongoDB database. This platform, known as Network Service Bus (NSB), serves as the centralized integration and API platform for all Singtel Singapore Group Networks capabilities and supports over 140 million transactions per month. He/she may also be required to setup and implement new platforms as part of new Network As A Service (NaaS) capabilities introduction.
His/her main responsibility also includes designing, developing and maintaining the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) software development pipelines required by the various teams and projects which include backend Java based applications, frontend Node.JS based applications, automation ansible based applications, and analytics Python-based applications.
He/she shall ensure that the automation toolsets supporting software feature delivery, as used by developers, are efficient, repeatable, secure and reliable. He/she shall also ensure that all the platforms and their respective components are supported with proactive monitoring and are kept up to date with regular patching and upgrades.
