Job summary

A leading chemical company in Singapore is looking for an EHS and Quality Control specialist to maintain compliance-related policies and improve site safety. The role involves conducting inspections, managing training, and overseeing Quality Control activities. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related fields to QA/QC.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in Performance & Specialty Chemical.

  • Maintain and update compliance-related policies and documentation.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and update compliance‑related policies, procedures, and documentation in line with EHS requirements and regulations.
  2. Provide guidance and support on EHS matters, including corrective actions, incident prevention, and continuous site safety improvement.
  3. Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  4. Participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis, and develop action plans for corrective and preventive measures.
  5. Plan and coordinate EHS‑related training to ensure all employees are properly informed and compliant.
  6. Maintain positive relationships with employees, management, customers, and regulatory bodies to promote a strong EHS culture.
  7. Manage and control all Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure compliance with company procedures, QA standards, and customer specifications.
  8. Review QC inspections and material testing performed by third parties to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  9. Continuously improve QC processes and recommend cost‑effective, efficient quality practices.
Requirements
