• Perform inspection, commissioning, upgrading, troubleshooting, and related service work on land-based sites as required.
• Liaise with customer management during on-site jobs.
• Communicate with respective managers for briefing and debriefing of service-related activities.
• Fill in necessary job reports, ISO work instructions, and checklists required for all work in a timely manner.
• Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of VEM products and ensure they are safely operated, tested, calibrated, and problems are resolved promptly.
• Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain VEM equipment as required.
• Provide training to other VEM personnel on the following systems and equipment as needed:
• Lead project teams, establish project execution approaches, and oversee project hand-over, planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to meet all project goals.
• Monitor and control project financials to maintain or improve contract margins, cash flow, and cash generation.
• Provide leadership and actively participate in continuous improvement and simplification efforts.
• Support local sales and tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Identify, contain, and reduce risks, and ensure opportunities for customer satisfaction, margin improvement, and project growth are captured and acted upon.
• Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
