Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineering Assistant to manage First Article Inspection Reports and maintain technical documentation. This role involves performing inspections, documenting results, and supporting audits to ensure quality compliance. Ideal candidates have experience with AS9102 and strong attention to detail. Competitive salary below SGD 4000 with regular work hours.
Qualifications
- Experience in compiling First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Strong understanding of AS9102 requirements.
- Ability to perform inspections with precision.
Responsibilities
- Compile and coordinate FAIRs submission to customers.
- Maintain and update technical documents to ensure traceability.
- Perform inspections of manufactured components.
- Document inspection results and escalate issues.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support continuous improvement projects and data collection.
- Assist in developing visual aids and training materials.

- Compile and coordinate the submission of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to customers in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Maintain and update technical documents, drawings, specifications, and process instructions to ensure traceability and version control.
- Perform dimensional inspections of manufactured components using calibrated tools and equipment to verify conformance to engineering specifications
- Document inspection results and escalated non-conformances for review and resolution
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities to address quality issues and drive improvement
- Prepare documentation and evidence packages for internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by collecting data, identifying trends, and supporting implementation of process enhancements
- Assist in the development of visual aids, checklists, and training materials to reinforce quality awareness across teams
