Job summary
A facilities management organization in Singapore is seeking a candidate to oversee hygiene and cleanliness, manage facilities operations, and assist in financial procurement processes. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management and have 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in educational or non-profit settings. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential. The role involves early work hours starting from 6:45 am.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant operations or facilities experience.
- Prior experience in schools, public sector or non-profit organisations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and review hygiene and cleanliness of the school.
- Manage a team of cleaners for effective school operations.
- Assist with financial and procurement operations.
Skills
Education
- Overseeing & reviewing the day to day hygiene and cleanliness of the school.
- Overseeing a team of cleaners & general workers for effective school operations.
- Managing the physical infrastructure maintenance and improvement works of the school premises, including assisting to forecast the financial needs of the estate management plan.
- Assist in the school’s financial and procurement operations as well as the use of technology to increase productivity.
- Tenderboard Procurement for all Operations Department Purchases/Tenders
- Inventory & Assets Management
- Canteen Committee Representative
- Fire Safety Management & Environmental Control Officer
- Events & Logistics Setup
- Any other duties as instructed by School Leaders as well as Admin or Operations Manager
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of relevant operations or facilities experience
- Prior experience in schools, public sector, or non-profit organisations preferred
- Knowledge of workplace safety, vendor management, and operations processes
- Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills
- Working hours: Start work as early as 6:45am.
