Job summary

Job description
Team Management and Leadership:
  • Assist the Finance Manager to oversee and manage the finance team, fostering consistent and accurate financial management practices.

  • Identify and nurture potential team leaders to strengthen leadership within the department.

Funding Monitoring and Reconciliation:
  • Maintain a consolidated funding schedule for all programs to provide a comprehensive overview of expected grant income.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of funding receivables against quarterly grant claims to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Budget and cashflow Management:
  • Drafting budget and monitoring of budget utilization.

  • Manage and optimize cash flow and ensure effective donor fund utilization.

Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

Accounting Functions:
  • Perform a full spectrum of accounting functions in compliance with accounting standards and financial policies.

Auditing and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to finance, audit and tax regulations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or similar certification is a plus).

Other Information
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting management, preferably in a non-profit or similar sector.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial software, especially Microsoft Business Central 365.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
