A nonprofit organization in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the finance team and ensure effective financial management. Responsibilities include drafting budgets, maintaining funding schedules, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central 365 and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Assist the Finance Manager to oversee and manage the finance team, fostering consistent and accurate financial management practices.
Identify and nurture potential team leaders to strengthen leadership within the department.
Maintain a consolidated funding schedule for all programs to provide a comprehensive overview of expected grant income.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of funding receivables against quarterly grant claims to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Drafting budget and monitoring of budget utilization.
Manage and optimize cash flow and ensure effective donor fund utilization.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Perform a full spectrum of accounting functions in compliance with accounting standards and financial policies.
Ensure adherence to finance, audit and tax regulations
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or similar certification is a plus).
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting management, preferably in a non-profit or similar sector.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial software, especially Microsoft Business Central 365.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
