Job Description:
1) Manage delinquent and bad debt accounts through monitoring and analysing database
2) Guide and ensure team members negotiation skills are effective
3) Responsible for repossession matter including auction and tender of repossessed assets, according to the rules and regulations
4) Initiate, handle and monitor legal actions with solicitors
5) Assist in review, develop and executing collection action plans and strategy towards achieving set targets
6) Handle and manage complaints or issues escalated from internal collection teams
7) Weekly review and conduct monthly meeting according to frequency
8) Preparing monthly management reports on the collection and recovery position
9) Continually evaluate internal processes and improve
10) Collaborate with cross functional teams, including operations, risk, compliance and finance to ensure that collection activities are aligned with company goals
Requirement:
1) Academic qualification: Diploma & equivalent
2) At least 5 to 7 years of working in handling collection and debt recovery
3) Competent in English (verbal & written)
4) High level of integrity, meticulous and detail-orientated
5) Strong ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment
6) Ability to multi-task, deliver results and solve problem well under pressure to meet deadlines
7) Open and willing to learn new things, take on new challenges and make adjustments to suit transitions in the workplace
