RESPONSIBILITIES

Support lab management, including:

• Keep analytical chemistry/materials testing lab equipment maintained and operating.
• Coordinate frequent summarization of lab work and lab facilities.
• Digitalization of lab analysis result.

Provide technical support at the Material Science Lab, including

• Operate analysis instruments for electronics products, including FTIR/ GCMS/ XRF/ SEM/ EDS/ Real time X-ray radiography/ metallographic sample preparation / Mechanical Testing Systems and Reliability Testing Systems.
• Perform quality, reliability and failure analysis on electronic product assemblies
• Operate metrology equipment - hardness, mechanical testing machines, optical measurement systems

Respond and manage the timely response of customer requests/escalations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of technican related experience
• Experience in material/chemistry/mechanical/quality lab management is a plus factor.
• Experience in industrial lab environment; proficient in microscopy, manipulation of digital photos and organization of data.
• Experience in operating analysis machines, including FTIR/ XRF/ SEM/ EDS/ Real time X-ray radiography/ Cross section and polishing equipment / Mechanical Testing Systems or Reliability Testing Systems. Experience in SEM operation is a plus factor.
