Job summary
A fintech company in Singapore is seeking a System Administration Engineer to manage IT infrastructure, ensure security compliance, and provide L2 support. This role offers a competitive salary of SGD 108k per year, excluding bonus.

We are working with a fintech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for aSystem Administration Engineer to join their Singapore team.
The package is competitive at SGD 108k / year (excluding bonus).
Responsibilities:
- Manage deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including network, VPN, Windows servers, OS, email systems, applications, and hardware.
- Perform server administration (user access, security permissions, backups) and ensure systems work cohesively.
- Ensure security compliance, patch management, and role-based access control.
Monitor systems and servers; manage backup and recovery procedures.
- Support hardware/software integration, performance tuning, and failure recovery.
- Implement and maintain security policies, firewall configurations, anti-virus solutions.
- Collaborate with IT Support on identity/access management, VPNs, and network security.
Provide L2 support and assist with end-user issue resolution.
Work with tech teams on infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements:
Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
1 -3 years' experience as a Systems Administrator.
- Proficient with networking, MySQL, Postgres, PrestoDB, Microsoft 365, Linux/Unix, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Experience with LAMP stack, Java environments, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins, Bash/Python/PowerShell scripting.
- Familiar with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
