We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a leading global firm in the financial technology space. This position focuses on ensuring the stability and quality of complex trading and data platforms. You will work on high-performance systems in an agile environment, contributing to the design and implementation of automation frameworks and promoting best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and execute test plans for backend and UI applications.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence.
- SDLC & Testing:5–8 years in software testing, including backend REST APIs and Linux/UNIX environments especially using Java.
- Automation Tools:Playwright & Cucumber (preferred), if not Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Maven
- Cloud & Agile:Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms; familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Collaboration Tools:Jira, Confluence.
- Capital Markets & FIX protocol experience.
- Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and mentoring skills.
- Integration testing with upstream/downstream systems.
- Familiar with DevOps concepts
