Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead cloud migration projects and design cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires a minimum of 6-7 years of experience in private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure, with strong skills in GCC 2.0 architecture and cloud native patterns. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills and be familiar with Azure services and DevOps concepts. Certification in Azure is preferred.

Cloud Architect

Strong knowledge on GCC 2.0 architecture and implementation.

Must have experience in leading a cloud migration project.

Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Good project management skills. Work well within a team but also able to work individually in stressful incident situations.

Experience in Oracle Application cloud migration (preferred).

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 6-7 years of experience, preferably with a Consulting or Technology firm, in designing and implementing private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Possess knowledge in cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability).
• Strong knowledge on GCC 2.0 architecture.
• Experience in the design of Multi-Cloud Services.
• Possess knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, container management and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by Azure.
• Understanding Azure Defense-in-Depth security and auditing capabilities such as Azure Security Center, Sentinel, Monitor, Network Watcher, etc.
• Understanding of the various IT infrastructures and application stacks.
• Utilizing cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets.
• Understanding agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Resource Manager templates, CI/CD using Terraform, Azure Pipelines, and configuration management using Chef and Ansible.
• Working within customer requirements and advising customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards.
• Experienced with scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#/.NET.

Good to have skill

• Prefer to have one or more of the following technical certifications:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
