Job summary

A leading maritime research institute in Singapore is seeking a skilled software developer to join their R&D Digital Translation team. The role involves gathering requirements and developing software solutions using various programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Javascript, Java, and Python. Candidates should have a background in Computer Science or Engineering and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position offers a dynamic environment focused on agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Javascript, Java, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Python, Go or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience in Unity 3D development is an added advantage.
• Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile Methodology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute to functional/design specifications.
• Design algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs.
• Develop clean, efficient and extendable codes using relevant programming languages.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.
• Perform code reviews and functional testing.
• Work with QA Engineer to prepare test cases.
• Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
