Business Environment Risks and Compliance Assistant Manager
Job summary
An industrial firm in Singapore is seeking a Business Environment Risks and Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to laws and regulations through policy creation, employee education, monitoring, and reporting. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance, with strong collaboration and communication skills. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, liaising with regulatory bodies, and developing compliance training programs.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in business environment risk management and compliance.
- Self-motivated individual with a high degree of integrity, drive, and sense of urgency.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to convey complex information.

- Create and implement risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor key risk indicators.
- Design and deliver compliance training to promote a culture of integrity.

Education
The Business Environment Risks and Compliance Manager shall be responsible for assessing, developing and implementing programs to ensure that DAP adheres to local and applicable international laws & regulations, Daikin group policies and internal guidelines through policy creations, employee education, monitoring, auditing and reporting to respective authorities and leadership to foster a strong ethics awareness and corporate culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy & Strategy Development: Create, update, and implement risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
- Risk Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify potential threats, and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Auditing & Reviews: Perform internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
- Training & Culture: Design and deliver compliance training, and promote a company-wide culture of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Regulatory Liaisons: Liaise with external regulatory bodies or agencies, stay updated on new laws, and ensure timely reporting.
- Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance breaches and risk incidents, managing follow-up actions.
- Reporting: Prepare risks assessment and compliance reports for senior management, detailing findings and mitigation strategies.
- Technology Management: Liaise with IT security manager on risks management software and systems for efficient monitoring and tracking.

- Operational Risks: Managing risks in daily operations.
- IT & Cybersecurity: Managing IT policies and security risks.

- Tertiary education in relevant fields
- At least 5 years of relevant work experiences in business environment risk management and compliance
