Job summary

A leading aerospace services provider in Singapore seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist. The role involves maintaining quality management systems and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of experience in ISO9001/AS9100 systems, problem-solving skills, and a degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in ISO9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System and NADCAP.
• Experience in leading and using problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams, FMEA and 5-whys methodology.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Possess good analytical and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and meticulous in nature.
• Familiar with NADCAP processes including heat treatment, non-conventional machining, shot peening and chemical processing would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system and products.

Core Responsibilities

• To perform quality assurance functions with regard to the product, process and maintain quality management system while ensuring compliance with all related government agencies, aviation authorities and customers requirements and regulations
• Review and revise quality procedures and quality control instructions
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality
• Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system, products, and processes (ISO9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP)
• Perform vendors and on-site audits as required
• Uphold customers and regulatory authorities requirements
• Drive down monthly Cost of Poor Quality/ scrap
