Dance Instructor
Job summary
A children's enrichment provider in Singapore is seeking a part-time Dance Enrichment Instructor responsible for planning and delivering engaging dance lessons for preschool and primary school students. The role focuses on various dance styles, including Ballet and Hip Hop, emphasizes child development, and requires passion for working with children. The instructor will operate on-site in various locations, with rates starting at $60 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Experience in Dance (either Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, or Hip Hop).
- Experience in lesson planning, education, and teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Passion for working with children and promoting their development.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Ability to adapt and modify lessons based on individual needs.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or related field.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons in various preschools and primary schools.
- Follow provided lesson plans for enrichment programs.
Skills
Kaleido Kids is an enrichment provider in Singapore that offers holistic programmes blending arts, dance, music, and movement with mindfulness for children aged 3 to 12. Our programmes promote physical development, cognitive skills, emotional intelligence, and artistic expression.
This is a part‑time/freelance on‑site role for Dance Enrichment Instructor at Kaleido Kids. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in various preschools and primary schools in Singapore. Lesson Plans will be provided.
- Day: Every Tuesday
Time: 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Location: Katong / Joo Chiat
Level: Preschool dance - Day: Weekdays
Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Location: Bedok
Level: Primary level - Hip Hop or Kpop
Rate for the above projects starts from $60/h, dependent on experience and certification.
