Job summary
A leading hotel in Singapore is seeking a Finance Assistant to manage daily revenue reporting and compliance. The role involves preparing reports, ensuring timely payments, assisting with month-end closings, and maintaining a good relationship with stakeholders. Qualifications
- Minimum a Diploma in Accountancy is preferred.
- Capable of working under time constraints.
- Good working attitude and keen to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare morning Daily Revenue Report.
- Assist in month end closing and financial analysis.
- Ensure financial reporting compliance.
Skills
Education
The incumbent's primary responsibilities include daily audit and control over the hotel revenue balancing, verifying the summary of daily transaction of the hotel and preparing reports in accordance with internal and external accounting standard.
- Prepare morning Daily Revenue Report for Hotel Management and head office
- Be pro-active with operational matters, working closely and build good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders on invoices, receipts and ensure payment is accurately applied on a timely basis.
- Assist in month end closing, on accrual and management reporting and financial analysis to Assistant Financial controller for review
- To ensure financial reporting is compliance with internal and external requirement
- Other ad-hoc assignment
- Minimally a Diploma in Accountancy is preferred
- Mature, capable to work under time constraints and meet tight deadlines
- Good team player with good working attitude and keen to learn
