Job summary

A maritime management company in Singapore seeks an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage operations of oil and chemical tankers. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety standards, overseeing the budget, and providing technical assistance. Applicants should have a graduate engineering degree and experience as a Chief Engineer or in a senior officer rank on foreign-going vessels. This role requires frequent international travel, up to 120 days a year.

Qualifications

  • Must have sailed as Chief Engineer on Oil/Chemical Tanker vessels.
  • Minimum 3 Year Experience in Senior Officer Rank on Foreign Going Vessels.
  • Preferably have 2 years experience as Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve safe and pollution-free operations of vessels.
  • Manage and communicate with all stakeholders regarding vessel operations.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain vessel conditions for compliance.

Skills

Proficient in PMS
Knowledge of ISM
Understanding of PSC regulations
Familiar with Flag & Class requirements

COC Class 1 (Unlimited FG)
