Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an Account Executive for a 6-month contract to manage Accounts Payable for the APAC region. The candidate will be responsible for processing payments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Strong attention to detail and vendor liaison skills are essential. Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function for the APAC region.
- Review and process payments, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function for the APAC region.
- Review and process payments, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including payment documentation, vendor contracts, and internal controls.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve AP and payment-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and local statutory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the upkeep of finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
