Overview

OVERVIEW Our client, a top-tier securities firm in Singapore, is seeking a Junior Relationship Manager to support the development of their Japan Desk. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Head Relationship Manager for the Japan market, contributing to the growth of a high-potential client segment.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) Japanese clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term engagement.
• Support the Relationship Manager in managing and deepening existing client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
• Facilitate client onboarding processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and compliance checks.
• Execute client trades and manage daily account operations, including order processing and transaction follow-ups.
• Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses across all communication channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private banking, with a strong focus on the Japan market.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Japanese to effectively liaise with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry or possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., CMFAS) is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a client-centric mindset.
