A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards while coordinating with subcontractors and managing site inspections. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. This position is suitable for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, with foreigners considered if experienced.
Assist Project Manager to oversee all daily construction activities on site to meet project progress and quality goals.
· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance to QA/QC requirements
· Convey proper instructions to subcontractors to ensure all installation works are executed in accordance with approved construction drawings details
· To manage construction difficulties, safety risk and other technical issues
· Prepare installation sequence & micro schedule for respective façade elements according to construction drawings
· Coordinate with Main Contractor, Subcontractors on all matters pertaining to site installation and quality issues
· Monitor and update daily project/site progress report
· Maintain proper records of Site Inspection Reports, materials deliveries and site activities
· Arrange & Coordinate Site Testing and Inspections with Vendors and RTO/RE
· Manage and plan site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient use of resources
· To assist Project Manager in timely submission of materials samples and mock-up for approval
