The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, from initial estimation through final accounts. This role ensures that projects are completed within budget, costs are controlled effectively, and contractual obligations are met in compliance with Singapore standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate tender documents, analyze bids, and assist in contractor/vendor selection
  • Prepare and verify interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts
  • Manage variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with project teams
  • Conduct cost value reconciliation (CVR) and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure cost control
  • Review subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts where required
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and cost records for audit and reporting purposes
Qualifications
